Sanatan Dharm – The Early Science

In India, majority of people follow Hinduism or Sanatan Dharm , Western Countries mainly follow Christianity and Gulf Countries follow Islam.

Since our childhood our society teach us our own language and religion is best among all other. By the time, we grow up, this “thought” spread in our life in a way as of it is flowing in our blood along with hemoglobin particles.

Till date, hardly you would find anyone who appreciate other religion. I sometime ask some people, “Suppose if you were born in other religion, then you would have been following all the things of that religion, which you deny to do now”? I find people become speechless, they can’t answer me, perhaps they get a new prospect for their life to look into.

As in one of my article “What is religion“, I wrote, “Religion is wisdom, we are not inherited with it, rather we learn it“.

Also I suggested to many people, “Be Global” than following just one religion, I mean learn from every religion and grow your wisdom to evolve in life.

By now, if I could convinced that Religion is wisdom, we can learn it (than just following blindly/superstitiously) as we learn from Science or other books.

And now I am going to share an example which will prove our ancient people were highly scientific and they taught things way ahead of our modern scientist actually found them, but they never got the credit as western people could not understand their language. For instance I will give you an example :

You might had studied in Science about the “Universal law of Energy” which states :

Energy can neither be created, Nor Destroyed, it only transform from one form to another“.

Do you know, this is shared way back in Sanatan Dharm i.e in Mahabharata (which many educated people think is mythological story) Lord Krishna told to Arjun :

वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि।

तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा- न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही।।

जैसे मनुष्य एक वस्त्र त्यागकर,
दूसरा वस्त्र ग्रहण करता हैं;
वैसे ही,आत्मा न पैदा होती है न मरती ही,
यह सिर्फ एक शरीर छोड़कर,
दूसरा शरीर धारण करता है।

This was actually in Sanskrit (world’s 1st language) 1st two lines, 3rd to 7th lines are its Hindi translation (I did for people who are comfortable with Hindi) & I am going to translate it in English to make more and more people understand across the world :

Just as human beings change their old clothes and wear new clothes,

Similarly our soul neither born, nor die,

It just move from one old body to another new body“.

In order to understand the real meaning of both, If you replace the word “Energy” of Universal Law of Energy with “Soul” of Sanatan Dharm , you will find that, both means the same.

So, who discovered the “Universal Law of Energy” first ? Our Modern Scientist from western countries or our ancient people of Sanatan Dharm ? I am sure, you all have answer by now.

So it was our ancient people who were highly scientific, discovered things way ahead of Modern Scientist, but their discoveries never got a place in Science books, nor on History books and people miss to learn our ancient science.

The reason I have given you this example because I had seen, people follow Hindu religion blindly, in a superstitious way taught by their religious leaders, instead of knowing the scientific side of it.

On the other hand, the educated class of people or the ones who follow other religion believe that the stories of Hindu deities are mythological and never cared to know the scientific side of it.

And finally, if you fall on either side of the people, then my friend I am sure, after reading this article, you might be thinking about the wrong things you were taught as a child and kept you away from the wisdom you deserved to learn.
